Paper Presenters

I agreed to participate in a workshop (without paper) and now I am being asked to participate in a session as discussant or paper presenter. I am unsure if I can accept this invitation.

A participant is limited to four active roles and one paper presentation per Congress. So, yes. You can accept this invitation as a discussant or paper presenter. In this case, you would have two active roles in the Congress.

Is a workshop or roundtable participant considered a paper presenter?

No. Workshops and roundtable participants are not considered paper presenters because these sessions do not have formal paper presentations. However,  a workshop or roundtable participation does count as an active role.

Can I submit an individual paper proposal and be listed as a workshop or roundtable participant?

Yes. You can submit an individual paper presentation and participate in a workshop or roundtable. Participants are limited to one paper presentation per Congress. However, roundtable and workshop participants are not considered paper presenters because these sessions do not have formal paper presentations.

Can I participate as co-author for one paper and main author for another paper?

No. An individual can only present one paper per Congress. If your name appears as a co-author, this counts as your paper presentation.
