Did you receive an acceptance letter?

If your paper or session was accepted into the LASA2023 academic program, please make sure your All Access subscription is valid until May 28, 2023.

If your All Access subscription expires on May 27, 2023, or before this date, you must renew no later than March 10, 2023, to actively participate in the Congress either on-site, in Vancouver, Canada, or virtually.

Participants who do not renew by the deadline, Friday, March 10, 2023, at 17:00 hrs EDT, will be removed from the program. Additionally, any session they were scheduled to present in may be cancelled or changed due to a lack of paper presenters.

Did you receive a notification letter?

If your paper or session was not accepted into the LASA2023 academic program, but your All Access subscription is valid until May 28, 2023, you can still enjoy the benefit of the Congress registration by attending all sessions, the Book Exhibit, the Film Festival and more, either on-site or virtually.

If your All Access subscription expires on May 27, 2023, or before this date, you must renew to attend the Congress either on-site, in Vancouver, Canada, or virtually.

No Refund Policy

Many more people would like to serve on Congress sessions than the Program Committee can accommodate. After discovering that participants agree to deliver a paper or act as discussants/chairs only to withdraw at the last moment, leaving sessions spaces empty that others would have gladly filled, LASA has enacted a no-refund policy to encourage accepted participants to fulfill their obligations to attend their session or sessions.

As a result, LASA does not refund the All Access fee, even in cases where the person is unable to attend the Congress or the proposal submission was not accepted.
