Target dates for LASA2024
July 21, 2023	Open period begins for proposal submissions and travel funding requests.
July 21, 2023	Open period begins to nominate candidates for awards.
September 8, 2023	Open period begins for LASA2024 film submissions.
September 15, 2023 (17:00 hrs EDT)	Deadline to renew LASA membership or All Access for proposal submissions and travel funding requests.
September 15, 2023 (17:00 hrs EDT)	Deadline for proposal submissions and travel funding requests to be received and/or updated.
September 20, 2023	Deadline for LASA2024 award nominations to be received, except for the LARR-University of Florida Article Award.
November 10, 2023	Notifications of proposals acceptance/rejection sent to proposal participants. Due to the high number of proposals received this year, the acceptance/rejection letters may be sent after November 10.
November 15, 2023	Deadline for LASA2024 films submissions to be received and/or updated.
December 15, 2023	Notifications of acceptance/rejection of travel grant requests sent to participants. Date subject to change based upon availability of funds. We apologize for the delay in the travel grant announcement. There are new ongoing negotiations to secure more funds for travel grants. Thank you for your understanding.
December 31, 2023	Deadline for the LASA2024 LARR-University of Florida Article Award nomination.
January 20, 2024	Deadline for LASA2024 GRANTEES only. Grantees must accept and digitally sign the contract. Otherwise, the travel grant will be revoked.
March 10, 2024	Deadline for ALL LASA2024 participants to register for the Congress or renew All Access. Failure to register for the Congress or renew All Access may result in the collapse of a session or a participants’ removal from the official Congress program.
March 15, 2024	Notification of LASA2024 Film Festival Selected Films.
March 20, 2024	Notification of LASA2024 Film Festival Winners.
April 5, 2024	Deadline to receive all materials from selected films for LASA2024 Film Festival.
April 14, 2024	Deadline to submit the electronic paper for conference proceedings and memoirs. GRANTEES are required to send their papers to maintain their grant.
April 28, 2024	Electronic Program becomes available online. Due to deadline extensions, the release of the electronic program has been postponed. We anticipate the new publication date will be no earlier than May 8th.
