LASA membership approves resolution on vaccines against COVID-19

This resolution was sponsored by the immediate past president, Gioconda Herrera, and approved unanimously by the Executive Council. In order for a resolution to pass, 20 percent of the current membership must vote and the majority must vote in favor of the resolution. The resolution met the requirements specified by the LASA By-Laws and there has passed.

Total votes received: 1,828 or 25.4 percent of the membership

In favor

1,770 or 97 percent

Opposed or abstaining

58 or 3 percent
