Investigadores latinoamericanos participaron de este panel que busca posicionar a la discapacidad como un tema de estudio relevante en la región. En la ocasión participó el profesor de la Facultad Dr. Pablo Marshall.
«Discapacidad y Ciudadanía en Latinoamérica» fue el nombre del panel organizado por el Núcleo Milenio DISCA en el Congreso de la Asociación de Estudios Latinoamericanos (LASA) que se realizó durante los días 24 y 27 de mayo de 2023, en Vancouver, Canadá.
La directora del Núcleo Milenio DISCA, Florencia Herrera, y el director alterno, Pablo Marshall, estuvieron presentes en el congreso liderando este panel que estuvo dividido en tres partes y en el cual participaron distintas investigadoras e investigadores latinoamericanos que abordaron temas como participación política de personas con discapacidad, experiencias parentales, sexualidad y reproducción, acceso a la salud, entre otros.
