Nominations Invited for the 2027 Slate
Deadline: September 15, 2026
LASA members are invited to nominate candidates for vice president, treasurer, and two members of the Executive Council for terms beginning June 1, 2027. Criteria for nomination include professional credentials and previous service to LASA.
Each candidate must have been a member of the Association in good standing for at least one year prior to nomination. Nominees will receive an email containing a link to accept or reject a nomination. A CV, biography, and vision statement (rationale for nomination) must be uploaded to accept a nomination. Nominations must be accepted by September 15, 2026.
The winning candidate for Vice President will serve in that capacity until May 31, 2028, as President from June 1, 2028, to May 31, 2029, and then as Past-President for an additional year. The two Executive Council members will serve a three-year term from June 1, 2027, to May 31, 2030. The treasurer will serve as incoming treasurer from June 1, 2027, to May 31, 2028, and then as treasurer for a two-year term from June 1, 2028, to May 31, 2030.
