‘Reacción y resistencia: Imaginar futuros posibles en las Américas’ es el tema central del Congreso Internacional de la Asociación de Estudios Latinoamericanos, que tendrá lugar del 12 al 15 de junio en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
El evento será instalado por el alcalde de Bogotá, Carlos Fernando Galán, junto con la presidenta de LASA, Jo-Marie Burt; y el rector de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, P. Luis Fernando Múnera Congote, S.J.
Académicos y expertos en temas sociales, políticos, económicos, culturales, de paz y ambientales, entre otros, estarán conversando sobre las fuerzas de reacción en América y sobre las formas de resistencia colectiva para concebir futuros alternativos basados en la igualdad, la justicia y la inclusión.
