La producción documental “Glaciares, Huellas del Tiempo” continúa sumando reconocimientos internacionales. Esta semana fue distinguida con el Premio LASA al Mérito Cinematográfico 2026, el máximo galardón otorgado por el Latin American Studies Association (LASA) Film Festival, celebrado del 26 al 30 de mayo en París, Francia.
El festival, uno de los espacios académicos y culturales más importantes dedicados al cine latinoamericano, reunió producciones audiovisuales de distintos países bajo el lema “República y Revolución”, proponiendo una reflexión sobre las múltiples realidades de América Latina contemporánea.
El LASA Award of Merit in Film reconoce a aquellas películas que sobresalen por la calidad de su contenido, su lenguaje cinematográfico y su relevancia temática. Se trata de una distinción honorífica que destaca obras comprometidas con la comprensión de los procesos históricos, sociales, culturales y artísticos de la región.
