Gioconda Herrera es la nueva directora de la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, sede Ecuador, para el período de julio 2024-julio 2028. La elección se realizó tras una Asamblea General del centro académico de postgrados en Chile.
Herrera sucederá en el cargo a Felipe Burbano de Lara, quien se había mantenido en el cargo de director desde julio de 2020.
