Call for the LASA-KELLOGG scholarship for indigenous and Afro-descendant students living in Mexico

From May 13 to 16, 2020 one of the most important academic events on the Latin American Region will take place, the LASA2020 Congress which will be held in the city of Guadalajara, in Western Mexico. The title of which will be Améfrica Ladina. Vinculando mundos y saberes, tejiendo esperanzas.

On this occasion, and to encourage the participation of indigenous and Afro-descendant students residing in Mexico in this Congress, the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) and the Kellogg Foundation will award 20 (twenty) scholarships with gender parity. The amount of the scholarship goes up to USD $500 and covers the cost of registration to the Congress as well as shared accommodation for 4 nights during the Congress.
