América Latina: del estallido al coronavirus

Los últimos años de la pasada década, en América Latina, estuvieron caracterizados por una sucesión de estallidos sociales que evidenció el agotamiento de dos modelos que, aunque caracterizados por importantes diferencias internas, se disputaban la hegemonía de la región desde principios de siglo: el neoliberal y el progresista. Los estallidos habían comenzado emplazando a gobiernos ubicados en el polo de izquierda (Brasil, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Bolivia) y rápidamente se extendieron a gobiernos que impulsaban proyectos de derecha (Argentina, Chile, Perú, Colombia, Puerto Rico).
