Airport and Transportation
Barcelona Airport (BCN) - El Prat
The Barcelona Airport (BCN) - El Prat is the main airport for Catalonia and the Mediterranean coast. It has two passenger terminals, terminal T1 and terminal T2. One of the main advantages is its proximity with the city of Barcelona, where LASA2018 will take place.
Transport
Aerobús is the official shuttle service that connects Barcelona Airport (BCN) - El Prat (Terminals 1 and 2) with the city center (Plaza Cataluña).
This bus stops at strategic points in Barcelona such as Plaza España FGC, Gran Vía-Urgell and Plaza Universidad, but its route does not reach the CCIB.
The Aerobús service operates 365 days a year with departures every 10 minutes or less. It is possible to buy the ticket on the bus (in cash) or in the vending machines of the airport.
To go to the CCIB and the LASA2018 Congress area, you must continue the route with the city's bus network or take the metro. It is possible to plan your exact route on the website of the Barcelona Transport Network.
Metro
The orange metro line L9 connects the Barcelona - El Prat airport with the city through the L9 Sud section, and the yellow line L4 leads directly to the CCIB in the Maresme - Fòrum station.
The route between the airport and the CCIB goes through the lines , as seen on the map.

Taxi
Taxis at the Barcelona airport offer their services 24 hours a day, and they have stops at both terminals. Barcelona taxis can apply four types of fares, depending on the time of day and the area of the city. These rates should always be visible to the public. They are usually printed on a sticker in one of the taxi windows. The cars have a taximeter that will indicate the cost of the trip.
