Statement

My vision as Student Representative of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) is to consolidate the role of students as key players in the life of the Association. I aspire to promote inclusive and collaborative spaces where graduate students can present their projects, receive rigorous feedback, and strengthen transnational academic networks that contribute sustainably to the production of scientific knowledge about Latin America. From an interdisciplinary perspective—which begins in Latin American Studies and extends to my current doctorate in Political Science—I seek to promote dialogue across disciplines, countries, and educational levels, ensuring that LASA continues to be a platform that amplifies the voices of new generations and enhances their participation in key debates about Latin America, both regionally and globally.
